THE PROBLEM

Two sites, no control, a blurred brand

Krii Black runs LePlatt’s Pond — a lakeside wedding venue and working cattle ranch near Durango. Her digital presence was split across two separate websites (LePlatt’s Pond and L-J Ranch / LBRJ), hosted by a third-party agency that managed everything on her behalf. Every small update meant a service ticket. Every brand decision got filtered through someone else’s interpretation. The two properties confused visitors who couldn’t tell where the venue ended and the ranch began.

She didn’t need a bigger agency. She needed a system she could actually own.

THE APPROACH

Build it together. Teach it real.

Rather than building a site and handing it off, Creative Flow ran a collaborative build process — working session by session, in the same tools Krii would use going forward. The site was built in v0 with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, chosen specifically because they let Krii make changes herself without ever touching an agency again.

The two separate websites were consolidated into a single cohesive site structured around the property: Home, Weddings, Events, The Loft, The Ranch, and About. Old URLs were mapped with 301 redirects to preserve the SEO authority she’d built over years. DNS was migrated cleanly at GoDaddy. A robots.txt, sitemap, and Google Analytics 4 tracking code were configured for proper indexing.

Critically, Krii was in every session — not watching, but doing. She learned to write prompts, preview and publish changes, manage her Tally inquiry forms, and compress images before upload. A custom Vibe Coding guide was written for her specifically, so she’d have a reference after the engagement ended.

“You couldn’t have built the website based on just the information I gave you and it turned out like that. AI couldn’t have done it alone either. But the combination of the three of us working together — it created this awesome product.”

— Krii Black, LePlatt’s Pond

THE RESULT

A site that reflects her vision — and stays that way

The site launched on schedule, consolidated, indexed, and fully handed off. Krii left the engagement knowing how to update her own site — not just how to use a tool, but how to think about prompting, content structure, and publishing workflow.

The most valuable thing Creative Flow builds isn’t the website — it’s the capability. When the engagement ended, Krii didn’t need us anymore. That was the goal.
